Gardening Club Extra AGM @ 7.45pm in Kirk Cara. Essential agenda item is to seek a nomination for Secretary to the Club for the coming season. (Enquiries will be welcomed). It is expected that Helen Riches will give a talk on ‘Making a Seaside Garden -the planning and planting of a Suffolk garden.’ Helen is a garden designer and freelance gardening journalist living in Essex who has given talks on three previous occasions.

Women’s World Day of Prayer Conference in May Street Church, Belfast. Registration is at 9.30am, and the conference from 10am until 1pm. This year’s theme is ‘Streams in the Desert’ written by the women of Egypt.

Summer Madness Zip Wire Challenge – we are looking for some adventurous volunteers who would be up to zip wiring from the cliffs at Dunluce Castle on Sunday 29th September. Please speak to Andrew if you are interested in helping to raise funds to support Summer Madness in their evangelism for young people.

Irish Women’s Convention entitled ‘Transforming Truth’ in the Assembly Buildings Conference Centre. With speakers Ann Benton & Kathleen Nielson. Places must be pre booked. Pick up a flyer from the foyer for further details and speak to Linda Cardy if you would like to share lifts.
